Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Websites

The links below connect to the official websites of the two Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) that serve our region. The Capital Area MPO (CAMPO) serves Wake County and portions of Chatham, Franklin, Granville, Harnett, and Johnston Counties. The Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro MPO (DCHC MPO) serves Durham County and portions of Chatham and Orange Counties. You can use the map below as a reference to which MPO serves your area of interest.

Links to Previous Plans

The Connect 2050 plan serves as the current Metropolitan Transportation Plan for the Triangle Region. It was completed and adopted by the Capital Area MPO and Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro MPO boards in early 2022. More information on Connect 2050 can be found here.
