At their November 2025 meetings, both the CAMPO Executive Board and Triangle West TPO Board took the first of two steps toward the adoption of Destination 2055, the Triangle Region’s 2055 Metropolitan Transportation Plan. That step consisted of approving the proposed Projects & Programs that are a major element of the plan.
Step two was the release of the full recommended Destination 2055 Plan and the related Air Quality Conformity Determination Report for public hearings, public review and comment.
